More new work in today's Telegraph supplement 'Insurance & Financial Services', this one is the whole broadsheet front cover. A couple of spots inside as well.
In other news......Just finished another sleeve for Defected Records, this time it's ATFC's 'Dirty Habit'. Currently working on something for Icon Magazine and a few other bits and bobs.
Another rough that didn't make it off the drawing board, this is something for the Telegraph, the final piece is heading in an abstract collage direction.
Illustrator, writer and all round nice chap Graham Rawle has a lovely new website, choc-a-bloc with nice things to look at including a preview of Graham's amazing new book 'The Wizard of Oz', out October 1st. I've spent the last few weeks programming the site in my spare time and it's been well worth it, go see!
Thought I'd put a few really old bits of work up on here, before the days of computer trickery just paint, stencils and a nice big canvas. These pieces date from '96 - '98 when I was still at college. 'New York street scene' appeared in 'Pen & Mouse' by Angus Hyland back in 2001 alongside 'The assassination of Martin Luther King' which was my exam project whilst at Brighton University. 'Neil Armstrong' was my first piece of stencilled work.
Another Illustration i finished last week, Stevie Wonder appears in todays Sunday Telegraph Magazine. I think this is the third, maybe fourth time I've been asked to Illustrate Mr Wonder. Below is the portrait from 1999 that appeared in the now sadly defunct 'Straight No Chaser' magazine, which I very strangely once saw in the window of an estate agents adorning the wall of a swanky loft apartment, someone was making cheeky copies me thinks!
My Illustration for Head & Shoulders appears exclusively in this weeks issue of Reveal magazine (it's got the super talented Victoria Beckham and Jade from Big Brother on the cover)
